Tgthr - Ending Childhood Homelessness
The movement to end youth homelessness begins with understanding its causes. A lot of people think they know them: things like mental health issues, substance use, and poor life choices. In fact, they’re often symptoms, caused by economic instability or abuse at home.
Homelessness is not just a lack of shelter. It’s the absence of a home — a place where somebody feels safe, comfortable, secure, and valued. Ending youth homelessness requires all young people to have a place to live, employment, access to education, wellness, and a supportive community. That’s what TGTHR has been delivering for 55 years.
The Food Bank of the Rockies
Motherlode Copacking was proud to be an Igniter Sponsor of $25,000 to support Food Bank of the Rockies through our participation of Gather & Sow, a brand-new signature event that will help provide meals to our neighbors facing hunger. Our support will help provide enough food for 100,000 meals.
In Sept 2022, over 18 members of our staff and their families were in happy attendance at the event where hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised in a single night!
The Food Bank of the Rockies provides food and necessities to people in need through signature programs and by teaming up with hundreds of Hunger Relief Partners to serve communities across Colorado and Wyoming, the largest food bank coverage area in the contiguous United States. They believe that for a community to thrive, every member must have the resources they need to flourish, and we strive to provide equitable access to proper nourishment for all.
